Wildfire Risk Reduction Assistance Application

Apply now to be one of ten departments RSG staff and WUI subject matter experts will work with to reduce wildland fire risk in their community. This will include developing a public awareness campaign with customized resources and conducting a defensible space demonstration. Carson City Fire Department established a mitigation trailer program that places trailers in communities for residents to load their removed vegetation, then the department hauls the trailers to the local landfill.
